Yeah, I’d recommend seeing it first. I had the ETA version, which is slimmer than the in-house 41mm BB, and it was just too chunky for me (And I certainly don’t have a small wrist at 8 inch).

I think the BB58 would be a great daily watch. Not a beater as such but a tough watch nevertheless. And in the watch world - it really is a bargain.

Not sure if I can justify 4 watch collection, as I already feel like I’m not wearing some watches often enough. But then again there isn’t one I could let go. It’s a nice problem to have but also terrible at the same time.

Also, as mentioned before - every time I tried the Speedy on, it didn't do much for me at all. Decided to finally buy it and I think it's one of the nicest watches I've ever had.

That’s right. However, I don’t live in London and there’s a pandemic, so not necessarily possible to travel etc.

Buy stuff to really get a feel for it and see if it’s for me, in case of the Rolex it’s impossible to go and do that at an AD.

It might look like it but not really, I've only got 3-4 watches that I keep.

Sometimes I buy stuff (like the Rolex), just to try it on and make sure I don't want it.

Yeah, fits great. I'm pretty lucky with that, same on the Grand Seiko - no micro adjustment but somehow I can get it right.

Third or so attempt at the Speedy, I couldn’t deny this love any longer.
Removing the bracelet link was a major PITA, someone went crazy with loctite (or whatever it’s called) on one of the screws and I almost gave up.

I like Hamilton watches, but this one for some reason just doesn't look right for me. I don't know what it is, it looks too fat/round.

I'd go for the new Longines Spirit, similar vibe to this.
