Sturdy 700c rim laced to a Shimano SG-S700 Alfine 11 speed hub, plus shifter. Also includes a Marathon Supreme tyre with some life in it.
I did 5000m km on this wheel commuting in the city, until the insides fell to bits and everything except the hub shell was replaced under warranty. I haven't used it since the warranty replacement, which means the internals are effectively unused. I replaced it with a different hub while it was being fixed and since then this wheel has been cluttering up my cellar.
Yours for the cost of postage, which is from Switzerland in a big box and comes to CHF60 or €55.

Then what you need is a cat ladder.

I have seen that one on a web image search. It also appears with the proper fork and without the crabon wheels:

That one's got normal downtube shifter bosses, cable guides under the bb and chainstay, and a Gazelle logo on the seat tube cluster, so it must be the 1989 model, and it disappears from the price list after that. -

Told you it was controversial. I'm undecided, and the original fork is really shiny.
Wheels now 2.5g lighter each!
And a real question: the countersunk seatpost clamp bolt is much smaller than the spares I've got: those have heads about 12mm across and a barrel about 8mm. This one needs something like 9mmx5mm. Same length as normal, about 18mm. I can bodge something together, but it deserves better. Where can I get a seatpost clamp bolt the right size?
Sorry for shoddy diagram.
Scenery, and top tip for saddle pack users: a bit of silicone tubing slit lengthways makes a good tube protector, to prevent rubbing.
I am having fun on my new bike, which is all that counts. Even if my wheels look shit :)
