Just a small clearout of a few spare bits.

Aluminium Pelago commuter rack, used for a European tour in 2019 and not used since then. 33cm wide, 30cm front to back. Dent in the front from a crash but doesn’t affect the rack at all. Comes with all the fixings. Also has Restrap magnetic connections which work perfectly with the rando bag. £50

Restrap small rando bag, bought off here in summer 2019 and not used since then. Really useful bag but not what I need anymore. Good condition, bit of a tear in the netting on the side but easy to fix. £50

I was in a similar position after doing the same to mine (emergency stop into a car). Forks were totalled but I got the frame checked and it was fine. I went for a Surly Straggler fork cause I wanted more clearance and that’s worked well so far.

Completely brand new (never been opened), a mix up with an order has meant I now have two of these racks. This is the black model.

I have used my other Pelago rack for a ride through Europe with a Restrap porter bag and they worked really well together. It cost me £85, so I would be looking to recoup as much as possible back. Collection from Cambridge, I am willing to post but obviously postage will need to be worked out. Any questions please ask.

My mate and I did Strasbourg to Basel mostly following the Rhine a couple of weeks back, was v v wet all day and not much in the way of interesting scenery. If there’s a better route would be worthwhile taking that one

Either way, an £80 fine on your birthday is not the one

I can understand the ban on cycling in terms of scroats racing bmxs past prams and the elderly, however in this scenario there was no warning, just an £80 fine immediately for cycling at walking pace. No let off at all, mostly due to the people who give out the fines making £45 off each one.

Considering my mate and I are only from Cambridge and haven’t ever been to Peterborough before I’m sure af not going back any time soon. Don’t know how they can justify a days’ wage in a fine for something so petty.
