Thanks! Yes I would definitely plan to take it apart to transport - I don’t think we could get it out of our flat in one piece anyway.
And also yes, my wife found this incredibly helpful for her bad back.
I’ve just got home and my daughter is now asleep in that room. I will check the type of wood on the top in the morning!

I used to commute from nw3 to Hammersmith hospital which is just the other side of the westway from White City. After trial and error I found that the best route was round the north side of Primrose Hill, through St John’s Wood, down Elgin ave and across harrow rd and the canal, then down golborne road and through Ladbroke Grove. A bit further than the most direct route but much quieter roads and only 5 or 10 mins slower. Can draw it on the map for you if you need!

This has been my wife’s home office desk for the last few years. She has found the variable height really helpful with her bad back. It has to go now because she is working from home less and we are rearranging furniture to make room for our increasingly energetic daughter - nothing wrong with it. The electric height adjust is very satisfying! It goes from 62cm to 127cm with 4 programmable set heights.
Works perfectly, some very light wear but no major damage / chips / scratches etc. and includes all the electric bits, cables etc.
It is quite heavy so will need collection, we can take it apart to help with this. Would need a reasonably big car or van I think.
Here is the link for a new one, with additional details:

RRP £650. We would like £250 o.n.o. please.
Collection only in London NW3 please. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for looking!

I took the stem out to check, and it turns out I did cut it down, as shown. Probably took a few cm off it as you can see - that was previously the minimum insertion mark. I think there is enough length left to give you a couple of cm rise in addition to that shown in the picture of the complete bike.
I genuinely wasn’t sure if I had cut this particular stem - because I ride very small frames, I have done this to lots of stems with no problems. Of course if you need more rise, this might not suit, but it is perfectly fine for a slammed set up.

Campagnolo Scirocco wheels here, £155 including tyres:
https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/388198/
They have a Campagnolo freehub but an 11speed Campagnolo cassette works with 11 speed Shimano and SRAM groupsets. I might be able to find a cassette that would work. Very little wear - I can take more pictures of the brake surfaces if you need!

Yes it’s very strange. Surely Vingegaard isn’t happy with his tiny lead at this point? He seemed in better shape than Pogacar today, I really don’t understand why he didn’t attack. He can’t be saving it all for the TT can he? Seems a risky gamble.
And Pog’s tactic of very explosive attacks in the last km of every summit finish - he’s only ever going to gain a few seconds each time, even if he can get away. They are both having their teams work insanely hard and then not doing anything much at the end of each stage. Maybe they really are perfectly matched, and both absolutely on the limit, but it doesn’t look like that - it really seems they are both saving something.
Only a couple of really big stages left. It’s been fascinating but weirdly unsatisfying!

I’m selling this with great regret, just because I don’t have time to ride it (too many other bikes). It would be great if it went to someone who appreciates it! One of my first neo-retro / MGOOF builds from a few years ago, it’s a 1980s Gianni Motta Personal - I’m not sure of the exact year. The brand is a bit underrated I think, in my opinion this one is well up there with the other Italian race bikes of a similar vintage I have owned & ridden (including Gios, Colnago etc.) Motta won the 1966 Giro and later founded a brand of his own. The Personal frames were built from Columbus SL tubing although they never had Columbus stickers for some reason. They have a few unique details, most noticeably the beautiful seat stays which are curved around the wheel and brake bridge, as well as seat stay caps, fork crown with octagonal section and a few pantograph details. This is a really classy frameset, quite light, lively to ride, and very pretty.
The frame is in the same condition as when I got it - pretty good shape but not pristine. Straight, no dents, no serious rust or significant damage. It does have a fair few chips and superficial scratches consistent with being well ridden, a couple of retouched spots and a few rough patches on the chromed sections. I’ve shown the most significant in the pictures. I had planned to get it repainted - I was thinking it would look great in white, or some kind of 80s neon fade - so I have a set of replacement decals which I will include with the bike.
Ready to ride as shown. Since building it, I have ridden it a few hundred km at the very most, all components were new so are in excellent condition. Groupset has a bit of very light rust on some of the bolts but works perfectly. Wheels are true and hubs are smooth, minimal rim wear.
Frameset: Gianni Motta Personal Columbus SL
Headset: Campagnolo Record
Groupset: Campagnolo Potenza 11 speed shifters, FD & RD - 170mm 52/36t chainset - 11-29t cassette - Ultratorque BB (NB. brake callipers will be switched to black Veloce, not the Potenza ones as shown in pictures).
Wheels: Campagnolo Scirocco
Tyres: Continental Ultrasport 23mm (almost new - just ridden around the block)
Stem: Factory 5 Titan 90mm
Bars: Easton EA70 40cm c-c, new bar tape
Seatpost: Thomson Elite
Saddle: Selle San Marco Monza
Pedals: Look Keo (I will take these off if you don’t want them, I have some cheap flat pedals I can stick on instead so it’s rideable).Top tube 52.5cm c-c
Seat tube 51cm c-c, 52.5cm c-t
Head tube 10.5cmI am just over 5ft 6in and the bike fits me ok as shown here, it’s ever so slightly too big - I think this stem is maybe 1cm too long for me, but with the right setup it would fit someone my height perfectly. With a layback seatpost and 100-120mm stem I’m sure it would suit someone up to about 5ft 9in, maybe a tiny bit more.
I would really like to sell the complete bike as it is. If it doesn’t sell as it is after a few weeks, I think I will probably sell the groupset and wheels and keep the frame. Maybe I will get round to having it repainted one day!
£690 o.n.o. please
Collection in London NW3 / NW5 area, or I could deliver it within a reasonable distance - maybe inside the M25 / north of the river. I would very much prefer not to post for now.
