I will add my experience. Used Audi a4 avant (75k miles), within a month the AdBlue pump failed £2000+ and an issue with start stop £200+ both covered by warranty. I guess it depends on the car but newer cars can get expensive quickly. My next car will probably be swayed by the longest warranty possible.

Edit: warranty was through Audi so pretty easy to claim.

I posted yesterday on the bench, should elaborate. I'm doing Stronglifts 5x5, I usually do some assisted pull ups/dips, and either ez bar bicep curls, tricep pushdowns as accessories (open to suggestions).

Current working weights over 5 sets:
Squat: 82.5
Deadlift: 95
Overhead: 40
Bench: 52
Row: 52

I can keep good form over 5 sets for all but bench, I think I do need to train supporting muscles for bench but there may be truth in I'm using my arms over chest. Lots of good info thanks all, think I'll go to the gym on an off day and practice form on Smith and bench.

Extension pole is a must, it makes painting walls much quicker and less tiring.

Albany brushes at Brewers are well priced, don't go expensive unless you WILL clean them. Otherwise you just end up disappointed next time you want to use them!

Wrap your brush/roller in cling film after use and they will last to the next day. Buy a scuttle and liners, I use a big scuttle with liner bags which I can tie and use again the next day.

Make sure you give your paint a good mix, Little greene will look good after the second coat.

If painting wood a colour, it's best to get an undercoat tinted for that colour. Little greene do a tinted undercoat which works well for me.

This is my best buy, it's very comfortable to hold and has a magnet for your brush. I use the liners so I don't need to clean it after use.

Not DIY but had colour flooring cork installed yesterday.

My normal Little Greene is too expensive for every room. Should I use Dulux Trade durable matt for hallway and stairs/landing? Will be painting white and needs to be durable.

Also trying to sell a bike, kicking myself for declining several offers earlier in the year over a few hundred pounds, which will be the same as giving it a good service myself. I have someone really interested but until it happens I wont believe it.
