Then
Colonel Slick Ashphalt is my roadie (how funny!!) which I currently call 'Tackleberry the Giant' (obviously) and
Queen Victorius Hammer will be my track fixie considering I can reverse my initials amd consider the colour as 'rainbow' as the frame has all the standard Cinelli colours..??
Funny how the gender matches the quiz, cuz my fixie girl will be named 'Troublegum' and in my head it's a 'she'
😂😂😂😂

This is Mr.Bags, my 13 year old Parson Russel Terrier. He's currently at the hospital, fighting to recover from a nasty gastroenteritis. It's his 3rd day in, some good improvement today but still too weak to come back home, so hopefully tomorrow there will be good news. Fingers crossed! He's an amazing companion for riding, used to being on the bike trailer so I take him around with every opportunity!😍

I've been planning a route from London to Athens and some people told me not to go along the valleys and the main road (easier, flatter routes) in the Balkans, purely because there are gangs operating and you could easily get attacked with your bike stolen and you robbed, before even realising it. Some areas are pretty rough, and that's not the landscape I'm talking about. So better of via remote paths, especially when riding at nighttime..

All yours @dsalmon!
I shall pass! ;)
Getting some Cinelli ones to match my bike! :P -
I haven't done any excessive research but I have purchased a 5lt can of Cretan extra virgin olive oil from the Hellenic Gourmet, near Bowes Park/Bounds Green stations, which was just as the oil I have always known. :)
They import lots of Greek products; my fav is feta cheese straight from the barrel!
Unfortunately I don't find myself frequently in that area, so I haven't been there for a while.
I haven't imported any oil myself, as I haven't ever asked around to see if there's interest but I have the ability to bring some limited quantity from Greece, as we are wholesale producers and I can bring it in cans (not officially packaged). If you are interested, the new production will start coming out around November/December, so I can see if I can accommodate this and will need to see what the rates are around that time of the year. :) -
For those who don't fancy the peppery flavour of olive oils, the Greek extra Virgin olive oils are sweet and light, not overshadowing the flavour of fresh vegetables on salads, with really subtle flavour.
Also, not meaning to sabotage the market, but most 'Italian' olive oils are mixed with greek, as production doesn't meet the demand and they import and mix before distribution. :)
I'm a producer and my family has been running olive oil factories for generations in Crete. :) -

So what's the downside of the Pistard Air cranks vs the 2.0? Not aero muself atm but found a set of Pistard Aero at a good price and thinking about getting it for the track bike I'm building! Also like the looks of it!
I assume I can change the chainring size if I decide to move from 49T to 50 or 51T for example? What does the 'seamless' connection mean?
Thanks! I'm totally new to fixie track specs and started digging now.. :) -

I'm a road endurance enthusiast and accredited track cyclist at Lee Valley Velodrome.
Having built a custom Cinelli Vigorelli steel, fixed bike back in 2018 brought me here.
Now looking to improve my knowledge on fixed gear and exchange opinions with like minded peeps!
About to get my first ever gravel bike..!
Goosebumps!!!😬😬😬
:)
He has sadly deteriorated today. He was much better last night, but his symptoms came back worse than before. :( They are currently looking into it and carrying out tests/scans to see what's going on. Terrifying. :(
Fingers crossed he will get through this! It hurts seeing your pet suffering like this. At least he's in good hands at RVC in Camden.
