@Thrasher it's true and I'm sure it's a sensible suggestion. But every comparison says the Spech is better.

but I'm willing to pay for the comfort and looks. TBH. CdF looks excellent as well but the geometry of sequoia seems great. 4 hours per day in the saddle needs to be as luxurious as possible. I'm almost 50 years old brother. Bones are shaking just thinking about it.

Hi all. I've been happily riding a brother frame ss for a couple of years. Now I'm commuting 1hr + to work a couple times / week and getting fat. which sucks. So I'm thinking to get a roadie that can carry a panier and get me from Clapton to Brunel University. Most of it seems to be along a canal. But google shows 2hr 15. Which I guess would end up being 2hr.

Still.. 4hr / day is something. 2x per week = sports.

Any bike recommendations? I'm 5'11.5" and weigh around 87k

Looking for good qual but not high visibility single speed with horizontal cutouts and decent components.

Height = 5'9" -- thinking 56cm - 58cm frame but open to more expert opinions than mine.

not too fussed about bars cos i have some, but have nitto urban bar type of thing in mind.

Budget is up to £350. It's a present for a friend.

Just went to see some BLB bikes. really shit actually. I'm spoiled on a brother frame with quality parts put together by someone from LFGSS. Gotta re-think the wife's ride. She's been on a specialised sirius for a while now, so probably used to something "sporty". All that dutchness won't cut it.

Looking for something non girly, discreet and elegant looks but high end parts.
Riding position should be upright, like not bent down.
Simple frame, no need for girl frame.
stainless steel, not alu.
basically it's all about the smooth ride.

please let me know if anyone's got something like that.

Oh and not "super fancy". also thinking about it.. up the max price to 300.

So I'm looking to get her a proper steel or alu framed ss that's in pretty nice condition so I don't have to do too much work on it. Looking for something tidy.

She's 5'9" so thinking 55cm min.

My wife is jealous of my excellent brother frame with hand built wheels. She's riding a trek hybrid and desires the smooth lines of a stripped down single speed.

I don't know exactly what frame size would suit but she's tall for a woman, around 5'9".

Hey all. Have a new job which means new commute. It's a heavy one and i'm going to leave my present ride in a car park at the other end of train line. So i'll need a new one for home.

Would go for dolan pre-cursa or something like that provided it didn't look too flash.. not really into the heavily branded look. I'm 5'11" and a bit. Looking for full bike but don't mind replacing a couple of things.

In London and not up for travelling out of town unless by some chance you're in Uxbridge.
