Lots will "fit" many are too wide for a left folding pedal to fold over. I find the OE cranks a good option, stiff enough, light enough, not bad price. HT2 is heavier, lasts no better and just isnt my cuppa for a brompton!

Every brand ever has a “bad” batch or an error etc.
Emails sent with info etc, open and honest, I see no reason to fault the brand or look at them negatively.
Brompton recalled 150,000 bikes for a BB replacement...

£20 rim plus cost to build, I charge £20 for a rim swap using same spokes - if in good enough condition.
Spokes are £10 though (146mm)
I have a rim you can have for £15 posted - very light use. It’s under possible sold atm, just waiting for a message back. I probably have another one tbh but need to check tomorrow.

The Bolts are threadlocked in, uncommon yo come loose but can happen’
I’d say the average user goes through a hinge in 1-2 years.
I have seen lots of ideas to change it, but none would be an improvement - more costly, would wear quicker, no real advantage!

Also the last two can be combined just that I haven't really tried longer than 10 miles on regular basis on brompton yet.But a Brompton is essential esp in London Zone 2 and beyond.
