I find it a very strange mixed up frame.
Why on earth build an old school lugged frame, with a 1” headtube, with the High end tubeset?

I can’t really find much info on the old interweb, so here goes.....

Well, i was offered a Genesis Volare 853 frame & fork with shipping to DK for 390£ but in the end the seller sold it more locally.
The frame was in very nice nick and i think the offer was fair.

So there about, give or take.

Maybe someone have a top end steel frame with loads of cablerub, scratches and maybe even a few dents, i don’t mind, painting is not a problem.

I have all the bits in boxes, groupset, cockpit, wheels and so on, but no frame.

I would really like to try a modern steel frame like say Genesis Volare, Enigma Elite, Cinelli Nemo Tig etc. Other suggestions welcome.

A frame with 1 1/8” headset or maybe tapered?
BB30 bottom bracket would fit with my crankset, but it’s not a must. For rim brakes and no brace-on for fender/rack etc.

I’m 5’10” or 178 cm and low on cash, so around a size 54-55 or a M and maybe a frame that needs a new paintjob.

Am i looking for a unicorn or is it possible?
