Nope, but remember I’m running 225/70r vs the stock 215/65r with 5cm of spring lift. So my tyres are 3.6cm taller and 1cm wider.

Shovel was too heavy, trunk door wasn’t opening all the way. Bumped my head a few times, went back to the hatchet.

25mm. When I was running 215/70r/16s the tyre was just kissing the outside of the well. With the 225s it’s about 1/2 inch outside.

Oh hey, and these literally just showed up.

Ordered some new subframe spacers and subframe bushings. Should be adding another inch of lift. Also gonna toss these on the back.

I made grandma’s ginger Guinness breakfast bread, but used an IPA cause that’s what I had at home, also out of sunflower seeds. Not too bad but it’s definitely missing something.

I had completely forgot about the rear hatch on my old V70 XC. The hardware all had broken from slamming the door. It was a fun car, had a spoiler and bumpers off what I believe was a V70R.

This is the first try with the shovel, but I used to carry a hatchet in the same place on the old car.

Couldn’t get into the boot, as the fuse that controls the fuel latch is the same that controls the trunk latch. And my back seats and trunk were packed so I couldn’t crawl into the boot.

PS that spot where the manual release is, is great for storing a bottle of emergency rum.

I do wonder what you US chaps do with your fuel doors? Around 5 years of age does someone in the DMV confiscate them?

The fuse that controls the lock in the same fuse that controls the release for the trunk. The fuse is also in the fuse panel in the trunk. I had my trunk and back seats full when I was at the pump and couldn’t get it to open. I had somewhere to be and had a donor at home.

Pretty much frustration and the ability to fix it later led me to just rip it off.

To do:

1. Replace ball joints, on order.
   
2. Replace engine mounts, have some from IPD, just being lazy.
   
3. Replace front swaybar, waiting on new mounts.
   
4. Moon roof is now stuck 5mm open, need to fix.
   
5. Car that rear ended me bent the bolt on trailer hitch. Need to straighten.
   
6. Porsche Safari style light pods?
   

And some new Geolanders have been installed. 225/70/16. Largest size that’ll fit with the Bad Swede kit without installing some subframe spacers.

The crashed Volvo had a Bad Swede lift kit, so the coils were harvested and installed on new struts.

I actually ended up stuck almost completely perpendicular to the driveway. It’s hard to tell, but that driveway is a 35% incline and a solid sheet of ice under the snow. I’d been putting off swapping out the suspension, but I finally killed it here, and killed the front tyres.

It’s kinda hard to see in the above pictures, but there’s a big dent/crease in the passenger front and rear door. Replaced them with doors from the crashed XC70. Swapped the exhaust, and replaced the rear sway bar and end links. and then this happened.

Was at home on paternity leave, so I didn’t need a car immediately. However when this showed up for $600, why not?

I guess I’ll be starting with these half painted trees. A bunch of branches seem to have fallen off during the move. Also why did I think a blue-grey undercoat was a good idea?

Haven’t done any painting since the move a year and a half ago. But the kids want to try Frostgrave so i guess I’ll be buckling down.
