I lost the buckle to my Giro helmet at Dreux on PBP. Just the male end bit. At the time I thought that Giro would happily pop one in the post but, unfortunately, they won't.
I'm hoping that someone has an old or knackered helmet that they don't mind separating from their little plastic buckle thing.
I've got the end that you stick the clasp in.

And I'm going to start sewing my badges on my framebag à la @cgg.
Edit: patches! yes.

ha! Me too but I haven't put in my final number yet as I'm in two minds about what jersey size to buy. Initially, I thought that was really naff but now I want a memento. The numb toes and tingling fingers will only remind me of the experience for a month or so.... a jersey will hang in my wardrobe forever.

Even when it’s freezing cold?
I did Marvellous Medway last weekend and had one sit down meal which was an extravagance. The rest was garages and coops and it was fine because it wasn’t raining or freezing. There is only so much self flagellation I’m willing to put myself through. I’m definitely there for the ride though.

It was so nice doing a fully catered event with warm shelter at the controls. Taking your shoes off and being able to get warm was amazing. I thought I was carrying too much stuff but I used just about all of my kit including the spare cleat. I was able to get through controls pretty quickly on day 1 but I didn't rush on day 2, mainly because I was knackered and soaking wet.

Motivational text messages from @youramericanlover and @amey direct to my wahoo was a treat and got me through the Cotswold section. I also got an enthusiastic thumbs up for a passing motorcyclist who saw me grinding up the final part of Dover Hill. My knees are very tender today.
SR done. PBP here I come.

Weekly yoga or pilates helps with comfort on the bike. Having a stronger core and some flexibility in your hips is what you are aiming for. Once you can ride 200km the rest is just sitting on the bike.
