Some obviously think it’s overpriced so I should say a bit more about the bike itself. De Rosa did not produce many of them so it can be hard to find information. They were intended to be De Rosa’s answer to Colnago’s lugged frames, like the C50, but for whatever reason they judged the market wrong and presumably they didn’t sell. The frames were very expensive - as much as the Colnagos - and used some innovative technology that I’m not that interested in to boost compliance. I was not the first owner; he had had it custom made and did not like the ride quality, which for him as a racer was not stiff enough.
I have not raced on it but find it an amazing bike to ride. I’m only selling because now I own an Enigma, which is probably the last bike I will ever buy.
I’ve ridden it over many tough routes like the LBL sportive and the route of Krabbe’s The Rider (plus a couple of extra cols) and have finished every ride feeling fresh, it’s that comfortable and compliant. It performs well on cobbles too. Anyone willing to come to Croydon is welcome to try it out to see if they think it’s worth it.
This is why I’m asking a fairly high price and I’d urge folk looking for something really special and unusual to look past what are some very minor superficial imperfections.
Even writing this makes me want to keep it. This is one brilliant bike. And it looks the absolute bollocks IMO.
Thanks for all the comments so far.

Selling this handsome lugged carbon De Rosa from 2010. It’s not a super stiff modern race bike but is fast, light and supremely comfortable. Great for centuries, for example, and you probably could do road races on it but it’s not its forte. It’s been very well looked after. The black matt finish of the frame is flawless and beautiful. It really is stunning to look at and photos don’t quite capture it.
High end components, including;
Campagnolo centaur 10 speed
Fizik Cyrano R3 bars
FSA Carbon stem
Fizik Aliante VS saddle
Campagnolo Eurus clinchersPedals not included. Red wall tyres in outdoor photos now replaced with Panaracer Paselas.
£950. This was a v high end bike at the time of production and it’s in near mint condition, apart from some scuffs on the crankset and worn bar tape.

I also have one. You can have it for a contribution to the forum if you can get to Croydon.
