I have a set of once used Vukas for sale as above, but no riser/angle kit.

I would love to switch them on to my Tri bike instead of the profile design I have but it's too much hassle...
Agreed with above that I wouldn't touch anything you can't get angle/spacers for (e.g. generic cheap Tri bars). The comfort difference a few cm makes is world's apart and you'll just end up with Vukas/PD/similar in the end anyway.

I just did 2x a week 1 hour sessions. But I am not as fast a swimmer as the others (1m50/100 over IM distance, limited slightly by injury).
I followed the 4 'biggest gains' in swimming technique from Joe Friel's triathlon training Bible.
Basically do a few months of focusing on technique before you start focusing on going long. Improving your technique will make you much more efficient and make swimming long much easier.
The whole book is written for those with some training/sports knowledge, but I found the swimming section really concise (can send photos if you want).
The book is well worth a pickup if you're intending on training long term.

Sold. Cheers @Buddha

Haha, I didn't want to feel I'd cheated and not made the distance. To be honest the bike was so within my limits I'm not worried about the 7km short (probably less than that due to the accuracy on the turns). I was lapping at ~12mins anyway.
BUT... I've never run a marathon. I've only ever done two halfs a long time previously due to frigging injuries. I've also always said the only marathon I ever intend to run was at the end of an IM... so to not do the full distance? Nah... I had to. It was only 2.5km (though I did have to walk it as my quad DOMS were so severe already by that point). Worth it...
The 8% bit makes me feel a lot better about the bike though thanks ;)
Aaaahhhhh @kiskubai. Love having the understanding of yourself to call it off, that's a commendable mindset.
I'm much less intelligent/mature. I've totally hobbled myself. My body is such a mess I currently cant stand up from a chair/the toilet without both arms, can't walk in a remotely normal pattern and can barely cycle (definitely no hills).

Cheers. Yeah it's a nice Olympic circuit for sure. As you say they should just make it 27 laps. But he mentioned a lot of full distance come up short... I can't speak to that though.
To be honest I had a few days off before hand and basically jet lagged myself. Went to bed 3, then 4 then 5am. The one bit of prep that went perfectly...
But you're right, the Olympic/half is good time wise but the full is a bit of a brainf*** if you can't prepare.

Cheers!
Edit: definitely not first off the bike but a pretty respectable split. I think third. We were all lapping at a similar pace hence why I probably didn't see them on the course.
They also must've programmed in the extra lap so I didn't do 1 extra. My partner was wrong hah. Oh well!
If I had been fit and better prepared I'm sure I could've made up the 25-26mins to second, but either way I don't feel unhappy at all.
Losing almost an hour on the run to 2nd and 3rd (both of which were very experienced) was still a good day!

So... That was absolutely nuts. A lesson in how not to do a tri. Sorry for the essay, don't feel you have to read it all
Turned up unprepared... Check... my headset was loose and that I was 1 spacer down. I honestly don't know how as I've ridden this bike at least 5-10 times since buying without this issue...?
Torqued the stem hard and just crossed my fingers.
Swim ~1h13 - was one of the last in the lake and didn't get a chance to move up near the start line before the gun. So was held up quite a lot at the start. Needed to play with goggles at least 10x due to water ingress losing a decent bit of time.
~7-8 min T1 where I realised my tracker had fallen off... Got me flustered. Went to change into a 1 piece aero suit. Forgot to change. Went back and changed again.
Bike 5h24 - went out hard with high power and did my fastest lap of the race. Stopped 2nd lap to pick up my tracker they found in the lake, but from then on was 1 lap up.
Ended up doing 1lap extra (I believe) but the course was definitely short. Read 172.29km but GPS wasn't that accurate on the 5 dead turns per 1 lap (26 lap total). Legs felt bloody great. Could EASILY have added another to round up without affecting my time.
Chainset squeeked EVERY single pedal stroke so probably some lost wattage to whatever caused that.T2 - 5min31. Changed into shorts + t-shirt (that were soaking I left the wetsuit on by mistake) because I was expecting a shocker. More time wasted. Forgot a belt so needed to pin my number on as I ran
Run - 4h47 (course was 2km short so this includes the extra 2.5km I did to make sure I finished my only ever marathon.
This was magnitudes better than my best proposed time given I've not been able to run due to excruciating bilateral ITB pain (done 4km the last 2 weeks and 36.2km in the last 2 months) was predicting at least an extra hour at best. Every run/walk transition was ITB agony for 30-50s and there were a lot of them.
I was definitely fitter in run (++++) and bike 2 months ago before the injuries worsened.Saved by coming off the bike with super fresh legs - honestly the bike was lovely.
Overall: 11h36 - I pushed it to make sure I'd still make my A goal (<12) even if the bike leg was short. There's no way in hell I wouldn't have done the extra bike in<14 mins and ran 300m extra.
Event time 11h14 (before I carried straight on to round out the marathon). 4th man by around 24mins. Could've easily made that up with a Tri suit, not losing my tracker and doing a lap less like everyone else. Think I was even first off the bike despite the extra lap but I'll have to check that. The 3 above me ran at least an hour faster than me...
Thanks to all on here for their help/support! I don't think I'll ever do another full distance but definitely sprint/HIM.

Aye. Sadly fully bodging tubeless just isn't something you practice right. I've never had to replace a tyre on my main bike in over a year. Only 1 plug too. I would have no l clue what to do during a race.
Just chalk it up to sheer unluckiness and bring a spare latex +valve extender.
One of the few times I'd much rather have tubes

Sorry to hear about the mechanical but good on you for pushing through. Still nice to get your PB and prove what you're capable of.
This Saturday full distance is looking like it'll be a travesty even if I don't mechanical but hey ho. It'll be good experience if I can even finish (will probably have to walk the run due to injury...)
Edit: my manager did the HIM there and described the wind to me today... Sounded bloody awful

As per;
https://www.endclothing.com/gb/arcteryx-atom-lt-hooded-jacket-24108-gl.htmlUnused warranty replacement for a previous jacket for a repair that wasnt done well. Can't fault their warranty! But I'd already bought a replacement.
Still have the shipping note I can provide.

Any idea of what to list these Cosmic SL/SLEs for (with good condition brake pads + 23/25s of buyers choice, not the 5000s)? The front has been barely used with close to mint brake surface bar the tiny bit above. The rear has a couple of tiny scratches and some patches of wear.
Some small patches of lost paint on a few spokes.
Edit: just noticed from the photo that one of the plastic valve holders has cracked on the rear. It's not the carbon!

Looked ace in person and if a size or two bigger I'd be very tempted!
