Ergotec Moon or Lady Town 31,8 or 25,4 might be your best bet then. Not as wide as marys but really cheap.
I actually really like the look of the Lady Town 31,8. -

Get an Intec M1 instead. They come with either canti studs or disc brake mounts all the way down to a size 42.

Agreed. Properly setup, length of cable probably won't matter.
But each added component is another possible point of failure.
And tolerances and efficiency in mechanical systems multiply instead of adding, so theoretically, if you have single set of pulleys with an efficiency of say 0,7, by adding another set of pulleys with 0,7 efficiency you end of with a total efficiency for the system around 0,49. -
I'm not saying it can't be done. With all the special editions King puts out, I'd be suprised if they hadn't learned how to compensate for different alloys in the proces.
BUT exposure to UV light will break down or fade the colours embedded in the anodizing proces over time and the colour might deteriorate differently in different alloys. -

I just bought a 26" touring frameset from Intec in Germany.
It has at least 70mm clearance and the wheelbase is shorter than my Vagabond, so even if it's completely #untukt it should feel more nippy.
Not to mention the lighter wheels and tires.

My GF has one on her commuter/tourer. It works really well.
If I didn't already have a commuter rack, that's what I would get.@Snuggah - I have no idea about their delivery time. I bought locally here in Denmark.
Have you tried writing their customer service? I remember them getting back to me pretty quickly through facebook. -
The Pelago Commuter front rack comes with mounting plates for axle and brake hole.
It's a seriously good bit of kit.
For even more functionality you might want to check out their "Rasket" as well.
