White van man. Phone in left hand. Breakfast in his right hand, just casually drives out of side street as if nobody else exists.
He caught up at the lights and I assume he apologised, but said breakfast took up 90% of his mouth. Un-marked police car spotted and made them aware of his actions and they proceeded to follow him. Hopefully points and a fine

I broke free from retail after 2 years of being a sales assistant and 3 years of being an assistant manager.
I worked for JJB Sports ltd from the day I turned 16 and progressed to assistant manager by 18. I soaked up the glory of earning an £18k salary in comparison to my mates on basic £5 p/hour contracts with no guaranteed hours. JJB went down the shitter and I moved on to better things. Started working in Smyths Toy Store and loved it for the next 3 years, until the Christmas period in 2014. We had a bunch of xmas temps that couldn't pull their weight, the store was going to shit, I left and went back to uni.
Thankfully I had 2 years under my belt in Building Services Engineering and finished the last two years. Now working for a well established Mechanical & Electrical Consultancy firm and realising that retail was the best and worst thing to happen in my career.
Many lessons learnt for only being 25. Working towards being chartered in the next 2 years and hopefully moving onto a new firm with worldwide opportunities

Having had the Subrosa for nearly 5 years its been neglected the last 2 years...and it needs a make over.
The Cinelli has taken first place as the daily and my anxiety levels reach an almighty high at the pub when I cant see it while ordering a frosty Harp.
Going to keep frame and fork only and completely start from scratch. Part list ATM:
- Shimano UN-55 BB
- Sugino Pista Crankset
- Miche x-press wheelset
- Easton EA50 bars w/ ODI lock on grips
- Thomson X4 stem (110mm)
- Flat pedals /straps or Shimano SPD's
Will keep it purple and dress it up with black components only.
Suggestions welcome and hopefully have this done in the next 2/3 months

It can be tough. There was weeks when a few guys got zero hrs, but had like 30+ the week prior.
Ohh and you'll be losing money through the equipment deposit (£150) which is taken out of your wage in small increments. This can be claimed back once you've terminated your contract.
Took me nearly 3 months to obtain this, but yet the company could spend £x amount of money on postering buses, new equipment and other branding guff

Pay all depends on how much you work. You apply for shifts, so the rota will be put out and you'll have to log in and select your available days. You'll not get huge amount of hours due to existing workers being allocated specific days based on performance. If you want the hours, you have to prove you've got the energy to do it.
You'll be emailed a review after your first month, highlighting your performance; ie...Average time taken to deliver / Respond to delivery message...etc, etc
I was earning roughly £100 every weekend, as I work fulltime during the week.
As you're self employed you'll need to fill out a tax return. The invoices that are emailed to you every 2 weeks don't state any Tax or NI, from my experience (Quit the company 2 months ago, not sure what has changed).
If you've got the drive to cycle for up to 8-10hrs a day/ 7 days a week, then I'd say go for it.
I miss free burritos tho :(
