The reason i am looking at the Charge Plug vs Fuji track is i have already narrowed my search down to these two or possibly the On One Pompino. Paddywagons, Cinellis etc have already been disregarded from my search due to price.
.For what its worth the paddy wagon i had was the most fun bike ive owed until it was pinched by some bastard! Bombproof I put it through hell. Not to say the other bikes arent good.
My house mate had a plug for a while but it didnt ride/feel as good to me. -

Interesting.
Im going to try my current cranks and see if they will work If not i'll have to look into buying something else. If ive measured everything thing correctly I should be alright.
However they are famous last words.
What rear hub are you using? Mine is standard track spacing so I need a 42mm chainline if running the hub centrally spaced.
With the messenger crank ive seen I should need a 103mm bb but I might get something slightly longer if this doesnt work and space it over a few mm just incase.thoughts/ideas/critisims welcome

So on the spur of the moment I recently bought an On One Pompetamine frame and am now planning to turn it into my all weather machine.
The plan is to move as much from my current bike over to it to get it rolling then upgrade as I find the parts as budget is tight so it will be a process of bargain hunting.
eg wheels and disc hubs/brakesThis should then allow me to restore the Olmo frame im currently riding and slowly killing.
So far the parts im planning to move over are
bars
stem
Cranks - Sugino RD 42t
Wheels - origin8 120mm spaced rear hub velocity rim.In theory the wheel should go in to ride fixed if i space it right as the frame is 135mm and get the correct chain line until i can source some disc hubs at the right price to build some wheels.
So the first things i need to find are forks and the right size bb to give a 42mm chainline i guess

Ok so I noticed a squeeking in my cranks last night on my ride home so this morning I figured Id check it out assuming it would just have come loose.
I loosened the bolt right off and then have cranked it down as I usually would to tighten it up and stop the squeek.
This time however the boot is cranked in as tight as it can go there is still about 2mm of play in the arm up and down.
This may always have been there and ive never noticed or its a nnew thing becuase somethings on its way out.
Any ideas?
Crank is Sugino messenger and the BB is a campagnolo (i forget which).
Could be that BB spindle and crank are just an i'll fit?

Ride Report.
Cocked up the unfolding and then in my haste to try and catch up I shifted gear going over the bump on the back straight and lost the chain off the front ring. Game Over.Consoled myself with free beer in VIP area.
Bummer!! This happened right in front of where we were watching! Bad luck dude :(
On the bright side FREE BEER :)
