Hi,
I'm after the following bits:
Saddle - yellow Concor/Rolls/Supercorsa or similar, new preferably (yellow vintage style saddles seem to be sold out everywhere!)
Nitto b123 or similar track bars - new or decent condition £40 max budget
Based in bristol!
PM's preferred if anyone has something to offer me

I've just had success at removing rust with a dremel multi-tool style thing, see dodgy photo.
It has an attachment with a circular steel brush. I was aprehensive about using it so tested it on an area out of sight on the frame. It worked a treat though, removing the rust with little effort and taking hardly any of the paint (apart from the paint where rust had got underneath).
After getting rid of the rust I used a soft cloth attachment to buff the exposed metal to get rid of any dust or bits of wire from the brush.
Hamerite has gone on well, so hopefully that's a successful fix until I get the frame resprayed!

so I've just got the frame in the post. The fork steerer is really long, and sticks out of the head tube by a couple inches, perfect for an Ahead stem. What do I do about that if I want to fit a quill? A threaded headset would take up an inch maybe, but not a couple right? wrong?
Forgive me for being a noob!

Hi
I'm awaiting delivery of a 2nd hand bob jackson vigorelli, 2 years old. The guy i got it off said he was using a 1 1/8th stem. I've been trying to find a nice 1 1/8th quill stem (old style, cinelli type) but can't seem to find anything other than really chunky MTB style things with industrial bolts everywhere. Am I being a complete noob or what?
The headset (shimano 1 inch, not sure what type yet) is a bit rough apparently so looking to replace that too, if that makes any difference.
Some tips on this would be appreciated by a novice like myself!

I had considered the out n about changing scenario. As long as I've got company to help it should be possible!
Hadn't considered the thieving little bastards scenario tho. Although I don't plan on leaving it locked up anywhere out of sight unless absolutely unavoidable. But then again, I bet we all say that don't we...
you can do them in silver? sweet. well hang fire on the build, it might take until payday before I can get the order confirmed and decide which hubs. The order will defo come your way tho!
