They are from Copenhagenparts http://copenhagenparts.com/ toyko fixed gear have them or can get them, but be warned though if I remember correctly they are pretty expensive (150 or more) and can slip forward and downward depending on what stem you use, a thompson stem seems the most popular choice for safety

That seatpost, feels light as hell, and has the type of clamp I like, i.e. one that doesn't slip no matter what and easy to fine tune. No idea what it is though!
And what campag brakes are these? I thought mid 90s mirage, is that right?the brakes are Campagnolo Veloce, the seatpost is a no-name copy of a USE. if by chance your breaking it I'b be interested in the 650c wheels

So possibly SL or SLX. Can you finger her seat tube from the bottom (bracket) and feel for light ridges? That'll indicate SLX (or possibly the later TSX though I can't remember the seatpost size).
I checked today and shoved my finger up her, no ridges, she felt pretty smooth. I took some better pics of the lugs to see if anyone can help.

I agree that it looks like there should be a 700c on the back; the clearances would likely be much tighter.
Thanks for the info I'll shove my finger in her later today and have a good feel around. I tried putting a 700c wheel on back when I found it but there's no way it will fit (even without a tire). It seems weird with 650c f&r and still no luck with info from the frame no.

what diameter is the seatpost? Usually helps.
its 27.2, I've been looking around and still can't find much about it, I think the frame was made by Ciocc but can't figure out why it was assembled in Canada, 54 is the size but haven't found any info on the 470 no. on the fork steerer tube and the bottom bracket shell or any other 650cc front and rear bikes around
-
I found this in the trash the other day, I know its a Concorde time trial but can't find any other info on it, wheels are 650cc, it has columbus drop outs and had a sticker that said assembled in Canada. It had Shimano 600 tricolour components and a Cinelli LA 1984 handlebars

I started stripping it this evening and found the no's 0470 54 on the bottom bracket shell but also the same no's on the fork steerer tube along with the Columbus "bird" logo...???

This is actually pretty sick - mixing up blue and purple components though?
Their websites cool: http://www.amp-research.com/company/history/amp-research-mountain-bikes/#
I crap you not I found a merc one covered with dust in the back of the garage on saturday, next to an old raleigh chopper.

Nice, Colnago
on ebay, not cheap though.
I saw a nice track version of that frame and paintjob, comes with matching bag and socks! http://keirinberlin.de/user/files/stashfuturaframes.jpg

ive been doing a bit of research etc.
it was the unit, just an earlier (2009 i think) model with upgrades.
i also found a unit on ebay with avid bb7s for 350 quid.
seems like a good deal to me.Saw this ad for a Cannondale 1fg in the classifieds. http://www.lfgss.com/thread55260.html for a really nice price. I've had a few different ss mtb's over the years but always end up back on a 1fg.
a couple of Cotic builds from last year

I have not given any advice, apart from refer Nowhere fast to Pinkbike.com...
I am willing to pay £300 for this bike regardless of the people on here trying to ruin his sale. Its been on sale at Pinkbike for over a week http://www.pinkbike.com/buysell/744909/ ?
Don't take the negative comments to heart Nowwhere, they're just messing around. If your really stuck and need top dollar try Retrobike or ebay aswell, from the 'op' it seems as though you really need to get rid of the bike due to some pretty bad circumstances so good luck and don't get to worried about a few folks pulling you leg.

thanks BigFatAl, I've never been there, gonna ride over this afternoon. Usually end up over at the Kierin Cafe which has some nice stuff aswell. I found this place earlier in the summer http://www.cicli-berlinetta.de/ they got some nice stuff but the owners a bit of a dick. And for older stuff pre WW2 this guys pretty interesting http://www.rembetis1.de/index.php?id=8

In what way were they a joke, just not as experienced as "proper" clubs?
they were always more concerned with standing around outside Trinity college looking cool than actually doing any riding, and when they did ride it was always short and somewhat null of any emotion but as I said it was 5-6 yrs ago so all those kids have moved on.
I remember Didcot has a pretty good club too called the Didcot Phoenix Cycling club (http://www.didcotphoenix.co.uk ) and there's always The Oxford City Road Club (I think Steve rides with them among others) ( http://www.ocrc.co.uk/ ). If Steve's too busy working downstairs have a chat with a guy called Neil he's pretty knowledgeable with events going around Oxford aswell and also can dish out some great discounts on stuff in stock. If your riding north or east of Oxford you might bump into an older guy around 45-50 with a bandana called Ashley, he's always alone and puts in at least 200 miles a week, he's a quiet fellow but loves to talk bikes.
If your after a younger more hip, alleycat/fixed kinda feel, chat with a guy called Dan at OCW on the Cowley Road. And for mountain bike trails advice, Jason at Beeline on the Cowley Road is a cool guy to know in the city. -
Nice one, we'll have to arrange a ride sometime soon. I'm free most evenings and weekends so it'd be cool to go for a ride.
Does anyone have any experience with the local clubs? I know there's a few about, and am thinking it would be good to get out on regular group rides through the winter.
You should go have a chat with a guy called Steve Avery, he's a mechanic at Bike Zone next to the covered market, he rides everything from mixed tandem time trial events to tricycle racing, his grandfather was the owner\framebuilder of the brand Lomas Cycles down on the Cowley Rd in the 60's. He knows about most of the regular team/group rides around the Oxford area and just basically an all round nice fella.
On the other tip about riding with the university clubs, it would be nice to hear some opinions on how they are, I've had some experience with them in the past (5-6yrs ago) and found them to be a complete joke. -
I'd say about 6 or 7 european companies in the last few years, I tried one of yours last year and it was a lot nicer than the one for sale up above but the the M01 Backjack is a weak example of their proper messenger bags. I end up always using a Bagjack or a PAC.
I double checked the price of the M01 Bagjack today and it was 85 euros retail -

it depends on the bcd etc, personally I reckon in the condition I'd say 60-85, but other folk might disagree, search through the classifieds here there have been a few for sale, or ebay them as folk seem to pay silleh money for them
