From what I have read, both Outlier and Mission Workshop make very durable trousers, the first being slightly more stylish. Both made out of polyester mostly, so I guess that makes them harder wearing. Top dollar though.

Because I’m to lazy to go out and take one in this snow squall we’re having here’s one from this past Autumn.

She started out as a bog simple 2.5T automatic (no manuals were available over here) I’ve upgraded the turbo to a 16t and had a Hilton tune/remap. She’s been lifted 2” via springs, 3/4” with subframe spacers and just about another inch from changing to a 215/70r16.

Handling was tightened up by new engine mounts, but I just discovered that the bolt that connects the upper engine mount has rattled loose. Need to fix that, and install some new end links and sway bars that I’ve ordered.

We had a guy at my shop old shop in NYC who had bar ends inside of bar ends but shifted inwards towards the stem, and then on the outside had those Scott drop bar ends.

Budd Bike Works did something similar

Not quite hacks and bodges, but making things work that ain’t supposed to.

Shimano 11 speed road front shifter with 10 speed mtb front derailleur and cranks. There’s a Shiftmate 7 that says it’ll work with triplex, should work with doubles also, no? Are there other work arounds?

Here’s a Deore 38/26. The 38 and the smallest cog in the back are in a direct line. Less the ideal, but should be ok.

Lack of clearance for a chainring bigger then 34 without having a horrible chain line.

Unfortunately the 105 cranks hit the chainstay. Might go Deore 40/28.
