Oh yeh that's just me being picky on parts and models. I'm pretty sure their almost identical, I've fixed a few and had centaur/chorus/daytona and apart from updates to the plastic or the mechanism can't tell the difference!

Thanks ! I've finally got some storage not far from my place, so hopefully can start building a few projects again, just working on securing it and sorting out some kind of work surface.

110 is always a good size for me, and i agree not having the faceplate makes it so much cleaner

Seat post could do with a polish maybe ? But looking good ! Its a huge bike and i'm not much a fan of the old style ergo levers, but a nice bike overall ! The shamals were the right choice.

The Somec, the yellow one ? I managed to sort out the derailleur/shifter issue but my chain is too short so will have to update that.
And yeh the C40 is still in storage for now, I've been waiting to get more storage to build a couple of bikes up ;)

So 8 speed to match the shamals ? would make a great mgoof with a nice silver campy set or maybe even sram red mechanical

I mean if they actually did it properly i think it could be interesting, they're obviously trying to get people like us forum goers into the channel but it just feels rushed each time.

I mean we've seen the format work a million times with cars and furniture on tv for years so its not as if its a format that doesn't work, its just not done to the best potential i think.

I've stopped watching gcn but i see Alex's builds every now and again, its funny because they are always almost good and then turn out bad somehow.

But I mean trust him, he obviously knows his stuff haha ! He is selling them all in a beautiful marbled bathroom after all (just the hassle of moving them all in and out and balancing them on the toilet would drive me crazy)

Some absolutely beautiful bikes there ! Real stunning pieces, prices are cazy even for cad though !

But you would imagine with all those bikes he would have a better place than some old crusty bathroom, that textured back wallpaper has me crying ! And don't whatever you do zoom in it gets worse ....
