I'm just about to move out of town to Brentwood, Essex and i'm after any advice on a route from the West end. Mainly late at night.

Any bits of nice road to take in? Any shady bits of town to avoid(i saw a thread about a gang trying to nick bikes...)?

They go loopy when not exercised properly, as my friend is learning!

Just using the bike to keep up sounds alot more doable than strapping the dog with harnesses and stuff!
