I completed Edinburgh Marathon in 3 hours 26 mins. Relatively pleased as it was my first ever marathon, but I was on for sub 3 hours 15 mins right until mile 17, then my legs started cramping.

@CHUG_IT, I recall you saying you did Edinburgh too, how'd it go?

It was dark (but not that dark, and I have a 500 lumen front light), I didn't see a black gate in front of me. Hoke was riding in front of me and he double-spok-skidded to brake and circumvent the gate. Instead of thinking 'I wonder why he is skidding, perhaps there is an obstacle ahead,' I thought, 'Sick skid brah,' and then proceded to cycle into the gate. Worn cleats inadvertently caused me to unclip and go over the gate. Later that day I ate carrots (they contain vitamin A/retinol which produces the pigment rhodopsin) to improve my night vision.

I don't necessarily have anything against smoking, it's just the fact that they're exercising and negating the health benefits of exercise at exactly the same time. Cracks me up.
