I have a couple of frames that I made years ago playing around with brazing that are gathering dust. Both with forks and custom made 1" ahead stems.
Offered with no guarantee, but if anyone can use the tubes/rebuild/respray them into something cool they are free to a good home (donation to forum would be great) and for cost of postage.
EDIT: after a few PMs if post is needed then it will have to be in a few weeks when I can collect them, otherwise anyone who can collect from near Aylesbury (HP17) would get first dibs.

9 months since last post, and finally got the Bosch bits through!
Starting to figure out all of the wiring now -- worked out how to seal up and route the main power cable with some off the shelf grommets and a punch. Also put some finishing touches to the frame like the stay/brake brace -- emulating the best to ever do it, Fastboy with this to match the curve of the rotor (not that it lines up particularly).

Middleburn RS8 X-type cranks, black, no spider, 175mm (more pics above ^^)SOLD
I found another set of cranks in the spares box. Black with lots of heel rub on the drive side, much less on left. Regular size axle. Can be built up as boost or non-boost depending on the spider fitted.
£80 £78£75Middleburn RS8, silver, no spider, 175mmSOLD
Real good condition, didn't work with the long and low of my recent bikes (changed to 165 now). Couple of scrapes around the pedals, but thats about it. Can be built up as boost or non-boost depending on the spider fitted.
£90Middleburn RS7 ISIS, silver, 175mm, no spider, SKF BB to matchSOLD
The engraving on the cranks is mis-matched as one arm is slightly newer, but same length/shape etc.
The SKF BB is phenomenal, it's been properly used, and looks like it should be dead but there is no play and it spins as it did when it was new.
£50Based in Sheffield. Happy to post. LMK if I'm off on my pricing.

Rockshox Pike Select 29"
150mm travel
Boost 15x110 spacing
42mm offset
Great fork, bought in 2022 for a hardtail project, but have ended up using an old Lyrik I had instead. These are pretty well immaculate and have seen little use.
210mm steerer, which is threaded for a OneUp EDC tool (a starnut can also be installed, but the edc tool is great).
£290Bos Dizzy
27.5"
Non-boost 15mm x 100mm spacing
120mm travel
220mm steerer
Really lovely plush XC (or is that downcountry?) fork, super light at ~1.5kg, stanchions immaculate. I've kept on to these for ages thinking I will build a whippet XC bike, but slowly realising, I won't.
£190
Moved to another MTB focused BuySell portal.Surly ECR 29” x 3”fork

Does anyone have any experience using a low-build up underfloor heating system (something like this)?
Our house has a solid concrete slab floor (that has no insulation below it), and I'm a bit confused by some of the different floor build-up options. One option make sense -- insulation panels that the pipes fit in, floor finish over the top... easy. But there is another (apparently better, more premium option) that uses Gypsum boards to hold the pipes and gain thermal mass. There doesn't seem to be any layer of insulation, so what I don't understand is what prevents those gypsum boards transmitting all the heat into the uninsulated floor slab?

Pat from Limit Fabrications replaced a ti top tube for me on a Genesis mtb frame a few years ago, and was absolutely brilliant. The finish was top notch.
I have four lengths of mini-tec extrusion that I no longer need. It's 40mm square, and various lengths from 1m up to 1.5m. Might be good for jig making etc. Does tenner a length seem fair? Happy to post, otherwise collection from Sheffield.
(Just realised I don't have a pic on this computer so will add later).
