Not really. Thread lock is good for preventing against loosening with vibration, but higher shear loads will eventually break it.
The other advantage of having the hanger sandwiched against the hub rather than outside the frame is that you end up with a more consitent alignment of wheel and derailleur. -

The only concern I would have is that there's nothing keeping the bolts or hanger captive once the wheel is installed. Hanger bolts have a habit of creeping out after repeated stress from a shifting derailleur. Admittedly, that's normally with the tiny M3 jobbies that most brands use, so maybe with a couple of beefy M5s it won't be an issue.

Harvest the nice dirt they bring up, get a cat, and wait for them to leave. Our wills be there one year, then gone the next.
I looked into various repellants but none seemed reliable and they just push the problem to someone else's land.
Voles on the other hand I would gladly remove with dynamite. Little bastards eating the roots from all our chard, pumpkins etc.
I sank 10mm mesh about 30cm down all around our beds which seems to have reduced the amount of loss to the critters. -

My Nespresso Pixie is on it's way out. After 10 years of daily use and a couple of valve changes, I think that's pretty good going.
I'm still torn between the convenience of Nespresso and wanting a nicer coffee. I'm leaning towards a Barista Express or Pro at the moment. I have a cappucino (approximation) every morning and maybe two on a weekend, my wife doesn't drink coffee. I think the Sage Barista machines retain enough of the convenience of a bean-to-cup machine whilst still giving enough control to be able to get a good drink out. I'm currently frothing with an aeroccino 2, so I think any steam wand will be a good upgrade.
Anyone here got strong opinions of Sage Barista Express vs Pro? Main different is the thermoblock I think and the Pro runs a bit quieter.
Is there anywhere I could actually go and try out any of these machines? -

I recently got the Wera Bicycle Set 8 which covers most needed sizes for bikes, including T25 and T30. https://products.wera.de/en/tools_by_trade_tool_sets_for_bicycles_and_e-bikes_bicycle_set_8.html.html

I have a 3 day window in which I would like to re-oil my wooden worktop. It's been 2 years since it was installed and there are a few scratches and areas where water is starting to get through. Should I be sanding through the old finish first to expose fresh wood everywhere, or am I better just applying oil and waiting a few more years before getting the sander out?

Road jerseys work because they're more figure hugging. MTB jerseys are much looser, so your phone tends to rattle about and jump out of 'road style' pockets.
I'm sure I've seen people do bibs or MTB base layer with pockets, maybe that's more stable. Or just get a fanny pack.
