In defence of Sky, it must be pretty herd for any team to hire anyone from that period who isn't tainted by association or deed. Banning those with a history from being involved in the sport would decimate most set ups.
I don't think that their (Sky's) performances are that suspicious when you factor in the tactics they used through building a team tailored to win the TDF and the fact there wasn't a standout individual talent up against them in this tour (e.g contador)' coupled with a route that was about as perfect for Brad and the Sky setup as you could get.

In some respects I feel guilty, as a fan, because years affected by this had some cracking racing which was no doubt drug fuelled and lead to some great viewing.
Does a dope free peloton lead to less interesting racing? Especially on the grand tours?
I am glad Armstrong got his just deserts, but have we now seen the end of an era in racing too.

Half the problem here is that the Media is now digging for dirt on any BBC DJ from that era, and are doing nothing more than recycling facts that Peel himself had been open about for years in an attempt to sell papers and scandalmongering.
Now I couldn't give a shit about Peel as I was never a huge fan, and what he did was wrong, but they are trying to paint him as a sexual predator like Saville and that's simply not the case.
What annoys me is that Peel is an easy target to try and make a headline out of, it's cheap journalism, inaccurate, and just jumping on the bandwagon.

approx £15k for a '05 CLS 55 AMG, reasonable?
All depends on the history - miles don't play much of a factor as the engine is a tank, but its critical they have been looked after with the right parts by the right people.
My C43 has 190,000 pm the clock and still feels like new.
Worth bearing in mind that parts not cheap on AMG's

I don't like the XF, has a whiff of Vauxhall about it, front end is all wrong for me, but I love the new XJ. Love em or hate em Tata have done a great job of boosting Land Rover, looks like they are turning their attention to Jag now.
I think the original XK8 is a future classic.
One thing I don't like is how they are slapping on too many go faster bits to the current XK, the XKR-S looks like the editor of Max Power gave it a once over.
