builders have no consideration for plants: Leading to our old neighbours have a perma feud with theirs, as their builders ended up killing a bird cherry.
Agree on the sight lines, good tip!
I have to move the pear a little bit and I had to move some plants as otherwise I could not see the sink pond.Soil is also very important, our heavy clay and the beebalm do not agree (sob) but most plants are going great.

Agreed, but not loving all the suicide/death links related to custody.
I served on the Coroner's court years ago, one guy died due to a head injury. PSNI did no pick up on concussion (he started vomiting) as he was also drunk.
Specialists agreed he would have probably died no matter what. Still, bit shitshow and the psni/hospital/prison all got told off, as there had been a huge investigation before.
Be interesting to see a breakdown.

Also the irony of pensions leading to job losses as the stock must go up (which cost me my own job indirectly lolsad)/ still not possible to avoid fossil fuel corps in most schemes.
FFS. And I can't avoid that unless I want to do my own pension funds picks. No time or knowledge ATM.
And a lot of private sector workers just don't earn enough to really contribute to their pension :(

As someone sarcastically said on Reddit NI...some immigrants are the new "themmuns"
These attacks happens in paramilitary controlled shitholes. Like the riots here in Belfast. Like Brexit in some parts of the uk the shitheads now feel empowered to act out.
NI has a lot of work to do though, there is
definitely more bigotry against some groups of immigrants than say England. -

You can indeed do that, if you put the garage underneath and built on top, go 3 stories, with high density houses. There's a few streets like that.
In my experience though most of it is not built like that and you get more and more sprawl. But maybe that's an easy thing to resolve by making such developments easier? It feels a bit like every council just does its own thing :)
Accessibility is also an issue, most houses simply aren't built for when you get older / have existing physical disabilities and this also hasn't changed much.
I know a trans woman in the USA in Ohio. Fun times for her as you can imagine.
This shitfuckery of bullying women/minorities is really a disgrace. Basically male toxic minority usa christians/controlling sad men and techbros driving policy.
While ordinary reps/dems agree on a lot of issues such as the economy/big corps having too much power/healthcare corruption.
But of course, the backers of Trump are Big Money and the backers of the Dems too, in that sense nobody has a great choice.
Sometimes it makes sense, there was an article in the guardian where an area was hit by trade tariffs with China. So one women just wanted those gone, but the rest of the rep voters came across as religious fruits and nuts and gettheillegals and all the classic tropes.
