@Alban if they're the best I'm going to need that good luck.

Some may recognise this from around a month or so ago. After waiting a short while and realising no-one was going to want a frame with a bent fork I took the initiative to do a parts bin build to get this up and running.

The frame is original, the fork is a basic black powder coated jobber but is brand new. Its a 17" frame so would suit someone between 5 foot and 5 foot 10 at a guess. The bike features LX cranks with an RSP 42t narrow wide chainring and an ACERA 7 speed derailleur running on a new chain and og cassette that seems to be fine still (shifts perfectly with no slipping when putting down power). I've been riding this around the past week with no problems, even when sending it off pavements and anything remotely resembling a kicker. Brake setup consists of Acera levers and STX RC v brakes. The pull ratio is admittedly a little off but they are pretty good otherwise, offering strong controlled braking despite this. The shifter is also acera and features a very neat little dial to show the gear you're in. Also new cables and housings throughout so everything feels buttery.
The handlebars are BLB moustache bars with ODI pink grips for a bit of fun.

Brand new schwalbe big apple tyres which are amazing for a 26" 2.25 tyre imo, very fast rolling and super cushy.

The saddle will be swapped out for a really comfy 90's pirelli saddle which will look almost as great as the flite. Also worth noting that the bearings have been serviced all round, but are a little ropey for their age. They should be fine for the foreseeable and I've hopefully reflected this in the price.

Only a few photos for now, but will report back in a day or two with some nicer detailed shots.

I'm after £350 for the whole build or will be happy to part ex for: cannondale frame / build, chrome bag or similar and a fork mounted rack/basket combo.

    Good morning everyone.

It's taken a while to come round to making this decision, but I feel its time to let this project go. Its been sitting around for a while and not getting the use it deserves.

As the title states, this is a 1988/89 Specialized Rockhopper. It's a 17" frame, and the paint is pretty beaten up as you can tell. The paint is super rough but beautiful still in a way, headset is much the same but included still to start you off if needed.

Price reflects the work I've already done removing the seized seatpost and bottom bracket, unfortunately the fork is also twisted, provided still incase you wanted to attempt straightening it out. I can also try to throw a few bits in to sweaten the deal if you require anything to get it going.

    Asking £75 collected.
