FFS. I hope the strategically placed milkshake advert was deliberate.

Such a fine line between stupid and clever

Look closer - the sexism is thinly veiled!

I’m just beside the tracks on the opposite side and don’t even notice the trains. There are very few freight trains on that line, so overnight it’s pretty quiet.

Just did exactly this last week, vaillant combi with mechanical clock swapped out to hive. Plumber was doing a boiler service anyway so wired in the Hive receiver which bypasses the timer faceplate. He recommended it over the alternatives as it’s currently £135 at Screwfix. Does everything I’d need it to, the app is better than I expected tbh.

Fingers crossed for Mr. Bags, being a Parsons I’m sure he’s far too determined to let it keep him down for long!

It's just bindweed. Very vigorous and tricky to get rid of entirely as the roots spread far and wide, but not anything awful. I'd be more worried about the yellow crocs.

I had a bit of a weird screen problem on my bolt after a few months, like a few lines of dead pixels. Returned to wiggle with no fuss and got a replacement which has been perfect. Also I asked how much of the bundle I needed to return and they said 'as much as you can' so I just sent back the head unit.

Cool - I'll take a look. Think I got my Sikkens AZ from there for doing the exterior window frames.

You're right about the IR addiction, there's something very satisfying about peeling back 100+ years of paint to smooth bare wood.

Cheers @Airhead - v helpful. I've got scaffolding up as we're getting the roof/loft done so I could be a bit more thorough with the stripping back, but there are a few spots at the ridge I can't reach easily. I've used the white satin Allcoat inside and been happy with it, will try to find the gloss black nearby.
The cobra is great, I'm almost looking forward to doing the front bay sashes.
