This looks cool, I think it’s got some real nice features.
Kinda surprised to see it hasn’t got any surge braking on the trailer itself, don’t think I’d want to rely on my V brakes to deal with potentially 100kg pushing into the back of the bike while I’m riding, especially downhill or something 😅.
If we’re talking about trailers I think the Carla Cargo deserves a mention:

If you need width then maybe check out the urban Arrow arrow tender?
I’ve seen pretty impressive sound systems on urban Arrow xl’s, just ratcheted down onto a fairly narrow flatbed (prob about 72cm wide)
You can up the width of the boards a fair bit without it getting floppy assuming the ply is thick enough

been using the pickups for the last couple of months after suffering many sidewall tears with Big Ben plus tyres previously. What’s the max width your douze can manage?
In my opinion the 26 x 2.15” comes up a bit skinny, do you want to borrow one to test?
If the Schwalbes a no go I thought the continental contact Urban were quite good. Not as heavy duty but didn’t get any sidewall tears with them.

This was recovered today in Peckham. A chap was riding it around- spotted by my partner who came to get me. after speaking to him and explaining the situation the dude gave it back. He had apparently found it abandoned a year or so ago and had been riding it around since.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a machinist who has the space and tools to repair (cargo bike) bags in london? Normally would send them back to Bagaboo for repairs but brexit seems to have made it somewhat nightmarish and expensive to do so.
