Hey all,
So I have the BLB Bullhorn bars fitted onto my pompino with some deda bartape. http://www.bricklanebikes.co.uk/blb-bullhorn-bar-black
I also bought tektro brake levers to fit onto the bar - http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/tektro-rl720-cx-brake-levers/rp-prod34842?gs=1&gclid=CJ2am8qTrcQCFdQZtAod6U0AAA&gclsrc=aw.ds
The bar is apparently 23.8mm wide and the levers are 24mm but the levers barely fit around the bar and the screw doesn't reach to the otherside. I have made sure that I am not inadvertently attaching the lever to the clamp portion of the bar (something like 25/26mm) but the lever still struggles to go on.
Any tips to make it fit or is it just a case of getting a bigger size? I would have thought that 26mm (next size up) would be too loose and would then require shims which is a pain but can be done.
Cheers in advance!

Cheers both! Great to keep these recommendations coming in. Gerryys, Kanazawa sounds fantastic, definitely going to make an effort to get up there. Perhaps drop by for a drink? As for your friend doing Koya-san, it would be brilliant to hear how he went about it. Right now, struggling for details!
Thanks Tychom, excellent advice! Gonna print all this off for reference...
