Fully recognise this might not be the place, but I was diagnosed with the same 2 years ago, can I ask if you have done anything specific to ease your symptoms? I've skirted from 'bollock in a vice', to 'burning ants crawling out my arse', to 'constant unsatiable urinary urgency' the first two of which are less frequent and less intense, the last of which just seems to be me now.
Since we're over sharing, a finger up the bum is vastly preferable to a camera up your shaft.

The feline gentleman is our very handsome and personable neighbour Major Nelson. To the best of my knowledge neither of us skateboards. We may never know. Larger human offspring rightly insists on the garden being a scruffy haven. We do well for Butterflies.

Decided to have a go at refurbing the dead shifters. I thought I'd separated all the internals for right and left. I had. Just not correctly. Much head scratching but I probably leant more for doing it wrong a few times. Seems to shift okay in the hand. Fingers crossed.
Also, 4 of these little bearings had made it into the bag. No idea where they came from.
Thanks for the reply. B17 has saved my sanity. I couldn't ride for nearly a year. Your story sounds very similar.
