Another project that I've recently picked up. As far as I'm aware Pearson was based out of Arrowtown and this bike was built in the early 90s. I've been looking for a 90s mountain bike project for a while and when a customer offered me this one there was no way I could say no. The plan is to keep it fairly simple with a 3x9 drivetrain, some DXR v-brakes and potentially an old moto bar to keep it all comfortable.

Recent pic of a recent build on a recent trip. Got the frame built locally and got exactly one ride on it before taking it on an 8 day, 1500km bikepacking trip. Fortunately I got the numbers in the right ballpark and it handled it all like a champ. Will take some proper photos one day

The Steamroller 100km in to a 140km loop. Neck and knees only slightly regretted the experience

A few bonus photos of a recent overnighter. No good loaded photos of the bike but you can get the rough idea.

The Cotic still going good. Seeing a lot of use as a daily with the occasional overnighter thrown in. Have picked up an old set of Hadley hubs and WTB I25 rims that'll get built up in the near future, might get some proper photos then.

That's some solid detective work! The shop is doing well, still riding that Covid bike-boom and doing our best to stay on top of stock shortages. The Bombtrack video was a highlight from the last few months for sure.

My own bikes are still slowly evolving. Picked up a BTR ranger to replace the Honzo and have a new Bombtrack Munroe Cargo to replace the Cotic as a daily driver. The Cotic is ever-evolving and I've also recently picked up a Surly Steamroller that will be my winter Tracklocross bike.

Done a rebuild on the Rockhopper. Tried to lose some weight while making it a bit more comfortable as a daily driver. Going to lace up some new wheels and we'll be done
