In no particular order:
Scraper blade, heat gun, screwdriver, steel brush and a load of elbow grease.
I’ve been using this stuff which seems to be halting further rot:
Then some of this after aluminium mesh and metal epoxy resin has been applied and dried
Long term option = new sills and boot
No I’d thought about it but had other things going on at home. D rally is coming up but I’ve decided to spend the weekend stripping off as much underseal of the DS as possible...
I’ve done quite a bit so far but suffice to say there’s some nasties being discovered 😱

Fixed the ignition barrel/ steering lock by installing a new one and it actually works . #didntbreakanythingthistime
And best of all no labour charge of £50 per hour plus vat
