You are right. It surely must be possible to make them non-slip. Some of them have tarmac on them

I've been contemplating a mirror but it would need to stick out quite far to double up to ward off close passes. Any ideas?

I've had the slipping problem with my second Enviolo hub. Now on 3rd and expect it to go wrong any time now as the 2yr warranty ends early November.

If the hub is less than 2yrs old Enviolo will probably replace, though with my 2nd one they got a bit iffy & in the end sent me the new hub, not a pre-built wheel as when the first one broke. This may have been due to Covid issues. Luckily my meagre wheel building skills were good enough.

Incidentally, I think the slipping issue was worse in hot weather - may be something to do with the oil inside the hub being a bit thinner?

well it does vary. tbh i've never looked at the year as a whole, but it's usually about £30/month and the bikes would cost about £7500 to replace

My bikes are insured on household contents ins. but I was unsure whether the cargo bike (which is used exclusively for work) would be covered as it's a commercial vehicle, so I took the belt & braces approach & insured separately through Laka

Recall some of the aforementioned. Shout out to @ma3k for many rides to the coast, @pajamas for Those Bright Bright Lights rides especially with Tron Sq, @middleofnowhere for steering me - half cut - the wrong way up many one way streets to be first to the next pub on @Bernie 's Guinness fandango
