I am doing a new build with a Wabi classic frame and I wanted to try something different than my Velocity Deep V's this time, plus my Deep V's were orange, so I wanted something with a different, more subtle color for this build.

I liked the performance of the Deep V's, and I rode them for 4 years without any issues. I really like the look of the polished aluminum Deep V's, but I ended up getting a pair of Silver Open Pro's instead.

The first batch of reviews I read were pretty much positive, but I did read some people who have had issues with them going out of round, and I think some people mentioned cracking as well.

Has anyone had experience with these? I got them from Velomine built with formula hubs and 32h spokes.

Should I give these a try when they come or just put them on craiglist as new and flip them for as much as possible before they are "used" and less valuable?

The fit of the frame will make the biggest impact on your comfort, then contact points that work for you including tyres at an appropriate pressure.

i have a new pair of continental gatorskins that i will be using for this new bike. i had continental ultrasports before these and vittoria rubino before that. all of them were 23c and i kept them at around 110-115psi

as far as frame fit i am 5"10 with a 30" inseam. my last frame was a 56cm and it seemed to fit well. i am looking at the medium size for the Lo Pro

    Hello,

I have ridden a basic steel track frame "Urbanite Track Frame" from a local shop for the last few years. It has been fine, but now I am looking for something new, and I would like something a bit higher end/nicer.

I have my eye on an Affinity Lo Pro, but I am not 100% on it yet.

Nothing is really fixed for the parts either. I am excited to do a new build and pick out part, but I do have a wheel set (velocity deep v's) and parts from my old build that I can use while I am finding new parts.

What would you suggest as a nice, good quality (and good looking) steel frame?

I am also a little bit interested in aluminum frames. I love the look of LOW, Bianchi Super Pista, Cinelli and all that stuff but I don't really want a frame that is too uncomfortable for street riding.

has anyone used the b15 swallow? i like the look of it a lot but i did read a blog post about someone who got one and it sagged down to the point of being unridable within a few months i think it was. probably just a defective one.

    hey guys,
i used a Selle Italia XO for a few years just because it came on a bike that I bought. I was an okay saddle. I still have it.
i really like the look of all these expensive saddles but i am wondering which one will feel the best for me. there isn't really a way to try them out except for finding someone who has one and borrowing it, right?
