Where are the geekhouse rockcitys. Someone must still rock one. Same could be said about Gorilla. Not counting early generation bmw. moreso cool Aventon, FBM Sword, Volume builds, etc. Chapman cycles fixies, Superb, Tres Hombres, Octachi, Colossi creations, etc. Where have they all gone.

My upcoming setup for the State Colombia bike. My current silver wabi wheelset but with gatorskins instead of gp 5000, Deda Zero100 post with Fabric saddle, an insane amount of tools and bike grease. I need replacement hub bolts because frustration and overtorquing has lead to almost stripped bolts on some sides. I contacted Wabi and will procure https://wabicycles.com/products/wabi-replacement-wheel-bolts?variant=45907308151020 the socket cap alternative hopefully. I have a phil seatpost collar for zero slippage. Do I want to take the FSA omega 130/FSA energy 42 or my nitto stem/nitto track drop. A lot of climbing and I've been most comfortable with the FSA/FSA positive rise. Planning ahead. Let's hope my job approves my vacation. I had a headset service recently and the bottom part was cooked. Looked like it was caked in clay. The mechanic replaced the bearings no problem. I can only imagine how bad the dura ace bb is atm even though it spins nicely.

I’d have to wait til I go back to find out. I did get all the specs from the internet recently. The replacement parts I do have should fit. I think it’s the collar because prior to the slippage and use of sandpaper, a cyclist trying to help me over torqued the seatpost collar bolt and I heard a cracking noise. Plus, I was 245-250 lbs at the time. @ltc

I do like the carefree climbing I’m dealing with now. 17t would be great for Medellin, Colombia. Obvs real mountains as opposed to my local hill so 47/46 tooth maybe. The bike I have in Colombia is a State Black label v2. Stock drivetrain 48-49?/15 maybe. I’m debating getting a new wheelset, cog and chainring for that. I have bars, stem, seatpost, saddle I plan on swapping when I do visit. I need to swap out the seatpost collar. Seatpost slips even with sandpaper/griptape. *Happy New Year

Day one in 17t. The skids are skidding and I keep spinning out on flat. I kept telling myself spin to win to accelerate and get the hell from point a to point b. I didn’t expect it to be that big of a difference. I kinda miss the resistance of 16/15t but I love it all the same. Good thing it’s double fixed and I have a 16t on the other side.

Saris metal rollers! I saw the vigorelli thread. Hope Thomson works out. As a person that overtorques (now I have a torque wrench) I chewed through the bolts of a Thomson 25.4 stem trying to secure a nitto handlebar (nitto with nitto is the best). Not the case with all my other stems. I like the new Vig Shark and Steel colorways. As for the bike, I assumed the gravel bar was over 44cm but it was 44 in the tops. FSA energy 42cm much more comfortable especially with a bigger cog (17t, one tooth more). *Shorter drop. I might flip the stem. I probably will. I get bored
