Side effect of searching marketplace for parts, I found a Geoff Roberts in my size from its second owner for cheaper than a carbon belt and rear cog

Rough assembly I’m the office storage room while waiting for a 26T rear cog and 115T belt. The nexus shift cable standoff sits way too close to a roadbike cable boss so something must be done to avoid this bend. Maybe a clamp on boss?

Pretty much most of the early carbon lugged frames were done like this and painted after. No idea what adhesive was ok the bolts originally

3D printed an adapter to be able to clamp on temporary fenders onto the nexus hub nut

Moment of truth splitting the rear stays went the harder of the two expected ways. The original hex screw was loctite’d im and super soft so stripped instantly. The backup plan was always to drill it out and thread the hole to an M6. Don’t know if just loctite and an m6 into an Alu thread sounds ideal, so there might be a locknut added from the outside for the final.
Hopefully this can work as a cable housing stop instead of the existing BB cable guide
