Having ridden it for a few days now, my opinion of it is only going up and up. I tried to ride my old bicycle and that now just feels like a toy, or junk in comparison.

You can certainly accuse me of being bombastic, but I would simply say I'm extremely pleased.

Photos aren't great quality, just taken on my mobile.

My bicycle from Oak. I'm a very, very happy customer.

If I can scrape together some more cash I might experiment with some drop bars, maybe some chrome or aluminium mudguards, and maybe a porteur rack. Potentially the cranks could do with upgrading. But... yeah cash.

My primary requirements given to Ryan were "make it so big no one else can ride it" (I'm 199cm), and also that I'd like an almost "dutch style upright ride". But really, it's completely his artistry.

this thread is 6 months old not a few years dude

If I scroll back to page 1 the original post look like it was 6th December 2011, but yeah it's certainly been 'active' in the last 6 months :) fair point.

Has anyone had a recent delivery, or placed an order with Ryan in the last few months? This thread is a few years old now, - looking for some recent feedback.

I'm looking around at places in London for a custom frame and have had a recommendation for Ryan @ Oak Cycles.

Can anyone who has gone all the way through the process reply with how long the whole process took, and if they were happy / would they recommend.
