That's not a bad shout actually, cheers
I've read a couple of places that doing one indoors will give slightly different results, is it really that significant? Doing it on the turbo would be much easier and as you say, easily repeatable
I have been wanting to do a heart rate test outdoors but don't know where would be best to do this
I've thought of Regent's Park but the traffic lights kind of make that impossible so, I'm leaning towards the Lee Valley road circuit but would the slight hills significantly affect the result?
Is there anywhere else I haven't thought of that people would recommend?
Ah amazing, I'll definitely check that out. Thanks for the head up!

Amazing, thank you
I like the sound of that man! I need to sort out a British Cycling licence and all that jazz first so might not be for a bit but I'll look for ones that are on the weekends and definitely keep you posted
Sounds like I just need to put my name down for as many races as I can, I'll definitely sign up for some of the Lee Valley races. In terms of meeting people who race the road crits are there any clubs you would recommend? I think the most daunting thing would be turning up not knowing anyone and then not having anyone to laugh with about getting dropped after the first lap. London Velo CC has come up on various feeds and looks decent, some of them do fixed crits as well if I'm not mistaken
