I had one in early December from a petrol station.

Was serendipitous - happened to be passing at the right time for one of the tourist drives. It earned its little sticker though! Scariest part was driving around the carpark before entering the track - a lot of fancy motors.
Motorway cruising maybe, but not autobahn, lol.

CitiGos are great & very capable - I drove my mum's to Croatia & back plus a lap of the Nurburgring. The higher power versions even have a bit of kick (though that might just be because I'm used to driving a base spec van). Also somehow if you get the right version it's zero VED.

Yeah, not visible from there. We essentially did a lap of the Aravis that day. Way back was tough from Megéve to Ugine - valley road was shut so we were sent on deviations which criss crossed the sides of the valley. Ended up getting back in the dark.

Away for Christmas & brought a project with me - the Land Shark. I gifted its Potenza groupset to my partner's Woodrup as it deserved something nice & silvery (after its SRAM groupset died), so the frame has been languishing unused for a while. It's always a bit sad to me, having a frame lying around unbuilt, so found a Chorus groupset on eBay for it.
Got carried away earlier & started putting things together, though I still need to repaint the fork black first. Nice to be able to use my grandpa's shed, & work with my brother (who is actually a qualified bike mechanic, rather than my self-taught approach), lots of tools & little learnings.

Cheers! It's currently in winter mode - back on the alu wheels with some 30mm tubeless tyres. Quite liking road tubeless, running 70PSI takes a bit out of a buzz with the rubbish road surfaces.
Did a century at the weekend for the Restrap solstice thing. Probably the worst conditions I've ever done one in, but I kind of backed myself into a corner with timings & plans so had no choice. Despite the conditions, was still good to get out, the Goyt & Manifold valleys are lovely.
Yeah, I've got a lot to learn! Looking forward to properly getting out in the new year.
