The last thing the US needs is the progressive vote being split.

I made the pupusas discussed earlier, I used a recipe from a blog something I'm not particularly fond of as they tend to be a bit hit and miss, but this one was fine. The filling felt a bit Jamie Oliver, cutting corners to keep it accessible but resulted in a 'flat' taste. In the future I'll use more elaborate fillings from one of our Mexican books, but the format is great. I might experiment with a mix of masa harina and white flour to get some gluten going, should make them easier to fold without sacrificing on taste too much.

Looking good! To tighten up those corners you’ll want to add a little snip in the panel that’s being folded, if that makes sense? This story from a couple weeks ago was a real Aha-Erlebnis for me. It’ll be easier to sew too, no excess fabric you’re trying to wrangle into shape. The other picture is a story of mine from a couple days back, the white one was from before I had figured out the snip.

We were discussing doing a group buy of laser cut plates for pivoting the seattube beam. Max came up with the adjusting mechanism above to avoid it going out of whack when bumped into / leaned on.

I'm thinking taking some inspiration from the simulation world and going for an angular adjustment plate like this.

Let's get this thread going again. @Biggles567 you mentioned wanting to use as many off the shelve parts as possible but your angle adjust situation seems quite involved?

Also, a little birdie told me another member wants to be added to the framejig list:

Probably wouldn't get as much as I'd like for it if I sold it

    Should have gotten a Surly

Absolutely stellar. Also convinced me to do my frame in the some colour as my forks.

Most of the bags I've been doing are lined now, it's a lot more effort but it elevates it from obviously homemade to maybe homemade. I'm ijmenk on Instagram, I sort of stopped doing posts because nothing was good enough to warrant permanence so it's been stories mostly. But I plan on picking the posting back up, so some of the recent stuff will be posted in the upcoming days.

I bought the orange from Gramm Tourpacking, worked out about twice as expensive as ExtremTextil because she quoted me ex VAT and went for what I think was the most expensive shipping possible, but it worked nonetheless. You could ask Straightcut or another UK bagmaker (don’t think Wizard Works is big on XPAC though) to sell you a small amount. ExtremTextil’s colour range has gotten better, but when I see the stuff Hungry is using I’m still left wanting.

@merl I’ll second Evazote, I have 4mm but I’ll probably look at a slightly thicker option by the time I’ve finished this sheet.

@GoatandTricycle I might, but I’ll have to warn you I’m very picky in the projects I take on. And as it’s strictly mates rates there’s no kind of warranty / liability, I’ll of course give it my all but just tot be clear.
