True, I like that they address the root cause rather than just treating the symptoms. I’ll try doing it myself first, and if needed get someone to have a look

How expensive is expensive? A company called superproof has quoted me £500? I have a bedroom in the loft so obviously I would like to block all entry points but might be beyond my skills to get to all corners in the attic and on the roof.

Thanks. Nice plants, too! I am looking for a chaise longue style corner sofa.

Do you remember which Model it was? The ones we had liked online looked a little flimsy when we checked them out in the store

Does anyone have any sofa recommendations? Nothing too fancy, but also no IKEA preferably? Does anyone have experience with made.com stuff, I don’t really trust them with such a big purchase. Like their designs though.

Yes thank youI am looking into it. Just trying to figure out if that’s the best thing to do. Maybe installing the shower in the wall side might make more sense? That way I could fit a normal bath screen.

Was just curious if anyone else ran into this problem and found a good solution to it...

Would appreciate any input on the following. I have a bathtub that is overlapping with a window so can’t fit a normal bath screen. I got a quote for a custom L-shaped one for about £860 pound. Obviously for that money I would just use a curtain but maybe someone has any ideas about where I could get a custom screen made cheaper or even one made from acrylic or any other suitable material?

Thanks so much. Will try to post pics for illustration.

Not sure I agree that street protest is completely ineffectual today. It is just difficult to measure its impact. The Extinction rebellion protests have massively elevated the topic in the media and the political establishment had to acknowledge it for example. From a historical point of view, most revolutions have failed in their immediate objectives, but no one would deny that the Haitian revolution has contributed to the end of slavery far beyond Haiti. If hundreds of thousand people were to voice their concerns in Westminster once a week till October, no one would dare pursue no deal. I understand that we all want to get on with our lives, but it’s our lives that are going to be affected by crashing out.

Thank you, all valid points, especially regarding Brexit fatigue. It's also true that protests have to be timed right to have an impact. I am just concerned that if everyone was to wait until September or October, it might be too late. It doesn't look like Boris is looking to enter negotiations in good faith and he is running down the clock instead. Public support would probably also strengthen the resolve of Tory rebels and opposition to prevent No Deal.
