  Not in a bloody packet ffs! Hose by the meter, barbs separate, not in an overpriced packet.
  It was an example happy knickers, based on my lbs saying they can't compete but still buying everything from Madison instead of using the hugely discounted stuff online and just adding a bit. I have a friend with a repair business, he buys spares in bulk, charges for stuff loose. I appreciate there are those who want a shimano packet. Whatever.

  Dear LBS. Have the guts to buy stuff from outside Madison and add your bit. Hose can be loose, not in a packet. If a groupset is 30% cheaper than you can buy it then split the difference. Etc. Etc. Etc.

  As a cyclist and ex HGV driver of 35 years.
  Deepest sympathy for all affected.
  Cyclists, no matter how much we change the hireachy no driver wants to run over someone. When you are rushing through and you need to pass back off, make eye contact in the mirrors ( presuming they are not dsmn camera type), wave an arm. If you can't get that then never, ever go up the inside. Look at the truck number plate, is it foreign ? If so its probably lhd, in which case turning right will be the drivers blind spot. Think, that thing could weigh 7 to 44 tons, your car is about 1.5.
  Take ownership and responsibility for the problems. It may well be your, "right" but that won't look good on your gravestone.
  Finally, hitch a lift in a big truck, have a look at the visibility. Common sense time folks!
