My cat also has a similar reaction. We don't exactly know why, but we suspect it's fleas as he will occasionally get scabby around the common flea areas like the base of the tail. He then starts to over-groom and pull off his fur. Our vet gives him an anti-inflammatory injection, which helps immediately, then the same in pill form to keep the itching at bay and promote hair regrowth.

So if it is fleas, it could be that the allergic reaction only lasts a small while, but the resulting dermatitis lasts longer. The other option is a stressful event that causes a bit of miliary dermatitis, that then snowballs.

Would be interested to hear what your vet says/does.

There are some stripped down solutions (this converts a double footswitch that might come with an amp into an up/down controller), but they seem to be expensive compared to a cheap multi button affair.

Arthur Beale close to shutting their shop for good, but not sure if it’s happened yet.

Chas Newens in Putney would probably be the next closest chandlery.

I switched to AdGuard on Safari after Wipr stopped blocking YT ads. Seems to be working. For a few days I would need to refresh a video to make it think I've watched the ad, but that's gone too now.

Koshka loves a bit of salty pit. Have to keep arms down if I don’t want a grooming. My old family cat back in Manchester used to lick your hair if you were sat on the sofa. Men only and he and especially loved my dad’s bald pate. I assume it’s like a salt lick, topping up their electrolytes.

It's the mention of our prime minister's past success in infrastructure projects that really gives it away.

The UN had previously commissioned a feasibility study from the international tunnelling company OFP Lariol, which estimated “Suez 2” could be dredged within five years.
    ...
“Technology has moved on considerably since the excavation of the first canal in the 1850s,” said the study’s author, Iver Shovel.

I’d probably pop out for a couple more 9V batteries before returning it, can never be sure of the condition of the batteries in a new instrument. I’ve had my P7 for a year and not run it flat yet, so no idea if it would gradually fade in active mode or just stop dead. Remember to unplug the jack when not in use.

Really like the bass though. If the headstock on the M series was nicer I’d probably get one of those too.

Holding cmd while a result is highlighted will show the path at the bottom. Return while still holding cmd will open the enclosing folder. Not sure there's anything more than that, however.

Second-hand Keystep v1? Now that they've released the 37 with new features, people might offload the old one like I did. They did black ones of the v1 Keystep, but they might be hard to find. The Microlab looks to have the same keys but rather garish colourways.

I didn't hate the Korg Microkey I used to have, but it's not got the DIN or CV outs, which I later found I wanted.
