I recently got my steel frame road bike stolen and need a replacement. I'd like a classic steel frame bike with gears and strong wheels, as I will be racking and using daily with panniers. A sturdy all rounder with a classic aesthetic. Any help would be hugely appreciated.(4/7/2013: Thanks for all your messages - I've managed to buy one!)
