The time has come to get rid of the Edge 800, it has served me faithfully for a few years, hasn't missed a beat - just isn't what I'm after anymore.

Few scratches on the screen/marks around the edge, but entirely functional.

Comes as head unit with micro USB cable, I don't have the sensors to go with it.

    £50
Based in N. London, happy to meet after work/weekends, or buyer pays postage.

    Any questions shout.

    Cheers

Price seems reasonable, maybe a little bit on the high side - but you should be able to get that much for it on ebay/facebook/bikeradar forum. I think the target audience here might be a little off, complete road bikes don't tend to sell without splitting.

I'd try ebay/bikeradar forum, maybe a dedicated facebook group for it. I think you'd have better luck.
    Either way, GLWS

Fairly certain they're a set of cannondale MKV rings, which are borderline impossible to find as they don't make them anymore. I think they're held in very high regard on WW.

TA Specialties, BOR, Stronglight, Extralite make very similar models.

Thanks for the in-depth explanation, I think the Roam is the one to go for, just means a bit more saving. The navigation on the bolt just doesn't seem as convenient as it should be, even if it is a nice little head unit.

I ordered the octal and ventral Air for this very reason.
The octal definitely fits that description, the front half of it is proper chunky.
IMO the ventral air is a lot slimmer than it looks in pictures, and not nearly as offensive. You don't look like toad from Mario.

Gotta say, i prefer the POC over the Giro

Little late - i've got a giro Cinder in medium, and have just bought a pic ventral air, also medium.

Both fit comfortably, the POC perhaps slightly snugger. Only other thing I can think of: if you push the helmet forward from the back (ie reach behind and push the helmet forward), there are two hotspots right at the back of your head, but you can't feel them normally.

Edit - got the names wrong, i've got a girl cinder, not synthe
