Haven't posted here for a while but was an active fixed gear and single speed bicycle builder for years. My No.22 Titanium Great Divide was stolen from 24 Ashwin Street Dalston today between 14:00 and 18:30. Please do let me know if you see it. I built it myself, all the parts are unique and it has keyed wheel nuts, seat post and stem cap.
If anyone has had a yellow and white ladies vintage bicycle stolen from Kingsland Road at 18:50 Monday 28th July, I have a picture of the guy cycling away with it.
Get the yellow tyres off the Fuji Track Classic and swap for a Panaracer Pasela Gumwall and you have a beautiful looking bicycle.
Sold a Bianchi Pista for £300 once.
I think the Tokyo Fixed Dart frame is £240. Could build one of those on a budget for less than £500 (possibly)
*So here is my input. Bicycles I would die to own. *
Ticks the NJS box that I will always hold close to me heart.
One of the cleanest Supercorsa builds I have ever seen.
Rapha Continental Feather Road.
Or anything by Ricky Feather or Tom Donhou
Moots Vamoots CR
Number 1 titanium bicycle that will forever be out of my price range.
Signal Cycles Gravel Grinder
Beautiful Gravel build from the US.
I would actually find it hard to make a decent bike for £329. I guess I am getting into the realms of 'Best off the Peg Fixie.' I guess most people on the forum buy and sell over time to design something themselves from quality components.
Check the forum classifieds, check eBay finds, buy low, sell the bits you don't need, get better bits.
Getting pricier but Condor have a good reputation.
The thing about all these 'pseudo custom' bicycle sellers is your paying for the colour scheme and not the performance. I would quite fancy a FrenoRosso Rust FR though.
