I sent mine off to Loake last year for a re-sole and re-heal. The shoes came back looking great with new leather sole, heal, inner, laces and they also do a refurb of the upper. I'd definitely recommend it for the £65 quid it cost me. It did take around 4/5 weeks though.
Cool - where are you guys based? I've just gone through the leather sole on a pair of my Loakes and need them re-soled. Would it be best to come to you, or ship them off to Loake who do a complete re-soling and re-finishing of the upper for £65 all in?
I have a colleague who is looking to build/buy a Brompton and is really keen on as much titanium as possible. He would prefer the single speed version, but would be happy with the 2 speed also.
Just watching a show called Everyday Miracles on the iPlayer. Has a history of the bike, and an explanation/demonstration of how carbon fibre works. Not a bad show in general.
Thanks @Vince, but the frame is sold. If you need a frame, I have a gorgeous baby blue fixie that might fit you...
The stripped Flite is still in the parts box...
