95% sure its not significant. I tore (and retore) my cruciate ligament a while ago so need to check its not done that again but it doesn't feel like that. I'll get in contact with the police anyway as it looks like I might get some joy from that/insurance after getting it all on file

Policeman was looking after a parade/demo at the time but there were a lot of police in the area so I dont think he was especially needed, just didn't really fancy it when I didn't have any obvious injuries.

Not a member of either of those unfortunately. Would it not be possible to claim off the drivers insurance if I have the license and hopefully CCTV?
I had the bike valued last year so would have a tangible record of how much everything affected is worth..

Hey, not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I was knocked off my bike on Saturday around Kennington (outside the tommyfield put just after that junction) due to a car overtaking me and then turning left/cutting me up before I could react, before driving off and beeping his horn.
Luckily I'm ok, justa couple of grazes, but the bastard has bent my forks (I have a columbus slx frame with italian threaded tubing so getting a replacement is going to be a pain in the arse) and also my aerospoke.
I called over a policeman at the scene, and I have the license plate of the driver (there were witnesses, one of them gave me the license) but they were unable to get anyone to help (and I was unsure what could actually be done anyway) so i left it as is and walked the bike home, but I just wanted to see if anyone had had any luck claiming things off cars insurance in instances like this?
The car was definitely in the wrong, any cctv of the area and witnesses would contest to that, but I'm unsure what the process might be for me to claim against the insurance for the undoubtedly significant cost of what I need to replace.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks in advance

Doubt it. If it was steel I'd say caustic it but not sure what else you can do if you've tried all of that

Nah unfortunately not, just silver early 90s style, mid-range, dont think they have a model on them

Didn't know GB were big on panto'ing, every bike I've seen from them only has a sticker as a headbadge!

I'd like to get £300 for it. I think it being a Cliff Shrubb frame should take it there. I've been looking for a Shrubb GB for literally years and they're hard as hell to find so hopefully someone can see the value in it! Changing a few components would add a load of value to it, I just cant do it at the moment!

In regards to the campag parts. I've got a crankset and a few other things from my other GB build, but given it's got the hollowtech BB it wouldn't fit anyway and I cant really get at the bike to change stuff in my state anyway.
Happy to sell the campag parts along with it at knock down price if anyone is interested though

As promised here are the photos. I really bloody like this bike! Got a pic of the seat stays too in case anyone was interested

Actually measures up as a 56/57 cm so a tiny bit smaller than I thought

If anyone's interested PM me with an offer!

    Cheers
