The wheels on the Wilier are an abomination

Why do Redditors have such appalling taste in bicycles?

Top Comment: "Maybe the best looking bike I have ever seen."

I'm sick of carrying a big bundle of keys around with me.

Are there any lock manufacturers that can provide you with a set of various bike locks that all take the same keys?

Was going to get a fat bike before the snow kicked in in Helsinki and everyone wants one. Too late :(

I think it is an interesting concept, and perhaps it will indeed lead to an important technical advantage and push our cyclists to win more medals.

It also looks ugly as fuck.

Not sure why I didn't see that outrun bike already, pls send the reddit.

It's funny because less than 2 years ago I would have thought this bike was the height of radness, but this 80s a e s t h e t i c thing has been so overdone, and should have ended with season 2 of Stranger Things.

Basically yes, but you can get like 40-50km out of a single charge so if I dont fuck up it shouldn't happen.

I dunno, borrowed an electric fat bike last winter, and as well as being fun, it did help a lot getting through packed snow. But it was also a pain in the arse to manage.

Seems this thread is about as active as my [insert disparagement of choice here].

But I'm caught between two main choices here and looking for any other thoughts before I do it.

    1. Canyon Dude CF8 - ticks most of the boxes, is relatively light by fatbike standards at 13kg, but it is orange and it is €2000.

    2. My mates electric Silverback that's in bits in his basement. I'll need to get a new rear derailleur, work out how to assemble an electric bike with hydraulic discs, and it weighs an unholy 25kg, but its mine for €600.

There are about 5 different companies leaving rentable escooters around Helsinki where I live.

Helsinki has very wide pavements and everyone rides them on them rather than the roads and they are kinda ok. Only problem is they are left lying around everywhere and they can go WAY too fast - I think they are limited to 20kph which is much too fast for riding amongst pedestrians.
